HT City Imagine Fest
Yashika Sugandh presented her work at the third edition of HT City Imagine Fest, India’s premier attainable art festival celebrating the convergence of emerging and established artistic voices. Held at the verdant Nehru Park in the heart of the capital, this two-day cultural rendezvous brought together galleries, artists, and art enthusiasts in a vibrant showcase of original contemporary works.
The festival featured a thoughtfully curated selection of artworks priced affordably, reinforcing the ethos of making art accessible to a broader audience. Beyond the visual arts, the event encompassed interactive workshops led by renowned organizations including Artreach India and Sangeet Shyamala, alongside curated art walks conducted by distinguished connoisseurs of art. The program was enriched with talks by eminent personalities and performances spanning Indian classical, Sufi, and folk musical traditions.
Sugandh’s participation in this prestigious platform aligned with her practice of creating visual narratives that explore humanity’s relationship with flora and fauna, rendered through her distinctive technique inspired by Indian miniature painting traditions. Her contribution to the festival represented an extension of her ongoing inquiry into ecological consciousness and the poetic coexistence of nature within urban landscapes.
