Surface: 03

Yashika Sugandh participated in Surface: 03, the third edition of ArtBuzz Studios’ platform for emerging artists, held in New Delhi in 2020. This exhibition continued the successful legacy established by Surface: 01 (2018) and Surface: 02 (2019), maintaining the founding vision of Anubha Gupta and Amisha Chowbey to provide young artists with vital exposure and support without traditional financial barriers.

True to the ethos of the Surface exhibitions, this edition likely maintained ArtBuzz Studios’ artist-friendly approach of covering installation costs and ensuring full proceeds from artwork sales went directly to participating artists. For Sugandh, participation in Surface: 03 represented her continued engagement with this supportive platform where she had previously exhibited in earlier editions, contributing to her growing presence within Delhi’s vibrant community of contemporary artists and expanding her professional network during a transformative period for the art world.
